365 days of Resilience in Syria
As a response to the emerging needs of the Syrian population, and in line with the 2014 Syrian Humanitarian Assistance Response Plan (SHARP), UNDP focuses on building the resilience of the affected population in Syria to stabilize their livelihoods and strengthen their capacities to cope with the shocks and negative impacts of the crisis. UNDP’s recovery, resilience and livelihoods programme was conceived, designed and is implemented as an integral component of SHARP 2014 as it is agreed upon between the government of the Syrian Arab Republic and the United Nations in Syria. Projects are implemented with various actors including local authorities, non-governmental organization (NGOs), and community and faith-based organizations (FBOs) active in communities all over Syria.
