Steffen Hertog , London School of Economics , 2012
The objective of this paper is to identify core obstacles to labour market nationalization in the Gulf. Saudi Arabia, the most important GCC country, will be the main case study, but its experience will be systematically compared with the labour market situation in the other GCC countries. Against this background, existing attempts to remedy the labour market situation will be analyzed and evaluated.
